In 2012, in the nation of Liberia, God spoke a clear and compelling mandate to Apostle John Gwee: “Arise, seek and rescue the dying nations by teaching them the word that gives life.” This divine vision was a call to action—a rescue mission rooted not in human effort, but in the life-changing power of God’s Word.After a season of dedicated prayer and seeking divine direction, obedience set the course. In 2013, led by the Holy Spirit, Apostle John Gwee began a fellowship centered on this rescue mandate. What started as a faithful response to God's voice quickly grew into what is now Rescue Word Church.From that initial step of obedience, a transformative journey began. The ministry, founded on the unwavering commitment of Apostle John and his wife, Rosanna Gwee, has been a beacon of hope and renewal. By faithfully teaching the Word that gives life, we have witnessed firsthand the restoration of broken lives, the redirection of destinies, and the awakening of purpose in countless individuals.God has faithfully multiplied the work of our hands. From our beginnings in Liberia, West Africa, the ministry has expanded to include a second branch there, and by God's grace, has crossed continents to establish two thriving branches in Malawi, East Africa. Each branch stands as a testament to what God can do through willing and obedient hearts.Today, Rescue Word Church continues to operate under that same founding mandate. We are more than a network of churches; we are a movement of rescue, committed to seeing nations transformed by the truth of the Gospel. Our history is still being written, as every life touched, every destiny altered, and every community impacted adds a new chapter to this story of God's faithfulness.
